My Personal Treatment for Sciatica! Also A Special Message for LBJ, LABron

As a young man and a Registered Physical Therapist, I worked in Southern California for the majority or my career. Between my twenties and thirties, I also experienced having sciatica with discomfort, namely numbness and tingling down my Right leg, from the buttock area. I did not seek a physicians assistance with the matter because I felt that I could treat myself. I didn't use any modalities at work, but I did exercises every morning, while laying on the bed. I laid in the supine position, on my back with my R leg extended, or straight and my L leg bent at the knee or flexed. This was the first exercise. I would do ten reps. of SLR's (straight leg raises), then I would switch legs and do ten reps. with my L leg, exactly the same, 10 reps. each. Next exercise was turning on one side and while keeping the top leg extended at the knee, and the lower leg bent at the knee to maintain balance, I would do hip abduction, which is simply raising the leg at least 45 degrees times ten reps, then alternate to do the same action with the other leg. The last movement was laying prone, or on my stomach, and perform a similar action which is called hip extension, prone lying. Simply raise your leg from the bed or surface, as best you can, one leg at a time for 10 reps. each. I performed those exercises daily for approximately two weeks, and the sciatica symptoms resolved themselves and disappeared. I did not pay for any treatment, therapist, with Gods help, heal thyself.
